Vietnamese Ambassador Vũ Trung Mỹ highlighted the VPA’s historical significance and the strengthening defense relations between Việt Nam and Venezuela, particularly noting educational exchanges in military tactics and the positive feedback on Vietnamese language courses for Venezuelan military personnel. Venezuelan Vice President Jorge Marquez underscored the valuable lessons from Việt Nam’s revolutionary military doctrine, pledging to enhance the bilateral defense partnership.

In Mexico, on December 5, Ambassador-Designate Nguyễn Hải Vân reiterated the VPA’s commitment to international integration and defense diplomacy, emphasizing Việt Nam’s contributions to global peacekeeping and cooperative efforts in various security endeavors. Major General Jose Filiberto Nuñez Salina from the Mexican Ministry of Defence acknowledged the historical kinship and the potential for advancement in political, defense, and trade relations between the two nations.
