This prestigious tournament commenced on March 4 and will conclude on March 18, featuring competitors from various nations including Algeria, Russia, the Netherlands, Canada, Italy, France, Iran, Brazil, Latvia, the Philippines, Spain, Thailand, Myanmar, India, and China.

Representing South Sudan in the championship will be athletes Abednego Thon (Wizzy), Sky Okony, and James Majok Gau. At Juba International Airport, Puro Okello Oboo, President of the South Sudan Kickboxing Federation (SSKF), expressed confidence that his team will return with the championship trophy, stating, “The fighters are prepared and will bring good results.”

Wizzy articulated his gratitude for the chance to represent the nation, indicating, “We are happy to represent South Sudan.
