UAE Strongly Condemns Attack on UN Forces and South Sudan Military

The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation of an attack on a helicopter associated with the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), as well as an assault on the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces (SSPDF) in Upper Nile State. This brutal incident led to the loss of a member from the international force and caused casualties among government troops, along with injuries to two crew members.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of the UAE expressed deep disapproval of the attack on both international forces and the SSPDF, reaffirming that such actions violate the principles of international law. This condemnation highlights the UAE’s commitment to upholding global peace and security.
