The last Mining Week attracted over 2,100 professionals, featured nearly 200 sponsors and exhibitors, and included representation from more than 40 operators and 20 exploration companies.

Dele Ayanleke, President of MAN, remarked that the ongoing success of the event stems from a strong collaboration among the Miners Association of Nigeria, PwC Nigeria, and South Africa’s Vuka Group, with backing from the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development. He emphasized that the event has established itself as a leading platform influencing policy reforms in the national mining sector and facilitating valuable connections for economic development of the country’s mineral resources.

Scheduled to occur from October 13 to 15, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, the event is designed to prepare stakeholders well in advance for this significant occasion. Samukelo Madlabane, the Event Director for Mining at Vuka Group, expressed enthusiasm for the forthcoming event and praised the Abuja Continental Hotel as an excellent venue based on last year’s success.
