The government has denied us entry!” He supported his claim with official documentation from UNITA affirming their invitation and the expected arrival arrangements at Fevereiro International Airport in Luanda. The documentation indicated that UNITA would be responsible for the leaders’ accommodations during their stay in Angola.
Despite the clear invitation, Angolan authorities have not provided a justification for denying Sifuna and Kyagulanyi entry, thus raising significant diplomatic and political concerns.
