During the initial meeting at the presidential palace in Baabda, Montecupo congratulated President Joseph Aoun on behalf of Grand Master John Dunlap and highlighted the order’s active involvement in 60 initiatives across Lebanon. He emphasized the importance of stabilizing the country to facilitate economic recovery and reiterated the Order’s commitment to assisting the Lebanese people.

Additionally, the delegation’s itinerary included site visits to various humanitarian projects, underscoring the Order’s long-standing commitment to health care, social integration, and agricultural development in Lebanon, marking over 70 years of support.

The delegation’s activities culminate with a new humanitarian agricultural initiative and a meeting with Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, enhancing the Order’s enduring role in Lebanon’s reconstruction efforts.
