Nepal’s Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba emphasized the nation’s intent to cultivate a “closer relationship” with India through increased trade, particularly in energy and goods, alongside addressing global issues collaboratively. During discussions, she stated, “We are focusing on closer relationships, vis a vis trade, especially energy trade… and working together on global issues.” Deuba is participating in the Raisina Dialogue along with global leaders, including New Zealand’s Prime Minister Christopher Luxon.

Moreover, Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon remarked on the positive engagements within her bilateral talks with India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. She noted the keen interest of Slovenian firms in the Indian market while highlighting the significance of India’s partnership with Slovenia, especially in areas like science, innovation, technology, and energy. Fajon stated, “We had a very fruitful discussion… so we are really trying to build to secure a future in the world.”

In the same vein, Ganbold Dambajav, Mongolia’s Ambassador to India, acknowledged the longstanding relationship between Mongolia and India, celebrating 70 years of diplomatic ties. He referred to India as Mongolia’s key neighbor in the region, expressing optimism for enhanced economic cooperation between the two countries.

The Raisina Dialogue, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 17, serves as India’s premier event focusing on geopolitical and economic discussions, aiming to tackle pressing global challenges.
