In her interview with ANI, Gabbard expressed optimism about the economic relationship between the two nations amidst tariff discussions. During her visit to India, which is part of a broader multi-nation tour encompassing countries such as Japan, Thailand, and France, Gabbard met with Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss strengthening strategic ties, particularly in defense and intelligence sharing. She also had discussions with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and participated in a global intelligence chiefs conclave. Gabbard is scheduled to address the Raisina Dialogue on Tuesday.
