In contrast, the UK aims to fully decarbonise by 2050, emphasizing its commitment to transitioning towards clean energy sources to support its economy.
Miliband, following in the footsteps of fellow ministers in Starmer’s cabinet, expressed the urgency of urging China to take significant actions against the climate emergency. He articulated that it would be a neglect of future generations not to engage with China on these pressing matters, highlighting the current discussions as integral to global climate efforts.
