The upcoming ‘4th Bangladesh Remittance Fair 2025’ is set to take place in New York on April 19-20, aimed at boosting remittance flows from the USA to Bangladesh. The event will be organized by the Bangladesh-USA Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BUCCI) in collaboration with USA-Bangladesh Business Links at Jackson Heights, New York.

This year’s theme, “Legal Remittance, Better Bangladesh,” will focus on the importance of transparent and compliant remittance processes in supporting Bangladesh’s economic development and foreign exchange reserves. Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur is expected to inaugurate the event as the chief guest.
The fair will gather key stakeholders, including banks, mobile financial service providers, app developers, money exchange houses, and channel partners to display their services and share knowledge. Attendees can expect demonstrations, discussions, Q&A sessions, and a Networking Dinner that will feature representatives from New York State’s Department of Financial Services and leading money exchange companies.
The previous years saw participation from various institutions such as Dhaka Bank PLC, Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, and Uttara Bank PLC. Notably, awards were presented for outstanding contributions in remittance services including the Top Remittance Bank Receiver Award 2024 and the Top Individual Remittance Award 2024.
