Condor Resources Uncovers High-Grade Copper-Molybdenum Potential at Rio Bravo Project in Peru

Condor Resources has identified potential for high-grade Copper and Molybdenum at its Rio Bravo project in Peru through a detailed analysis of historical and recent data, suggesting significant mineral resources could exist, particularly in inadequately tested areas.

Condor Resources has revealed substantial Copper-Molybdenum potential at its Rio Bravo project in Peru. The company’s CEO, Chris Buncic, highlighted this finding during a discussion with Steve Darling from Proactive. The assessment involved evaluating historical technical data, which includes 11 drill holes from 2012, totaling 5,729 meters, alongside drill logs, assay results, core photographs, and comprehensive geological mapping covering 20 km².

The analysis of both historical data and Condor’s current surface exploration indicates the likelihood of discovering a significant new deposit characterized by high-grade copper and molybdenum. These minerals are primarily located in primary sulfides, originating from the surface and extending below a leached cap. Notably, past drilling efforts targeted geological contact zones, yet the porphyry-type mineralizing system is open in all directions, indicating further exploration potential.

A major finding is that the core Cu-Mo target in the northwest sector remains largely unexamined, as prior drilling efforts concentrated on peripheral areas. Following a thorough review of the existing data, Condor’s exploration team is optimistic that drilling the untouched core of the intrusive porphyry system may reveal substantial resources, thereby elevating the significance of the Rio Bravo project within the company’s asset portfolio.

Condor Resources’ exploration of the Rio Bravo project showcases promising Copper-Molybdenum prospects. The company’s evaluation of historical data combined with recent surface exploration suggests significant untapped resources, particularly in the largely unexplored northwest sector. This reinforces the project’s potential as a crucial component of Condor’s asset strategy and indicates opportunities for further mineral discoveries in the region.
