Hannan Metals Unveils Extensive Copper Mineralization at Previsto, Peru

Hannan Metals has reported a promising copper porphyry target at Previsto, Peru, showing 750 meters of mineralization up to 192 meters wide. This finding significantly enhances the project’s potential, closely adjoining previous gold mineralizations. Hannan plans to further explore these copper and gold systems, backed by a robust team and operational advancements.

Hannan Metals Limited has identified a significant copper porphyry target at the Previsto Project in Peru, measuring 750 meters long and up to 192 meters wide. This discovery comes from systematic channel sampling across four parallel creeks, confirming continuous copper mineralization. The site is also in close proximity to previously identified high-grade alkalic gold mineralization reported in February 2025.

The findings at Previsto greatly expand the project’s potential due to its close location to earlier identified mineralization zones, demonstrating a continuous strike length with widths that further suggest undiscovered mineralized areas. Surface sampling has shown consistent copper mineralization despite the leaching, implying that richer grades may exist in unweathered zones beneath the surface.

A geological team comprised of five geologists and ten support staff has returned to emphasize further exploration of the mineralization at Previsto. CEO Michael Hudson highlighted the implications of the copper findings, which signal the promising district-scale potential of this evolving mineral belt in Peru, enhancing the overall attractiveness of both the Previsto and Belen projects.

The analysis of the mineralization at Previsto reflects unusual characteristics typical of porphyry systems. Channel sampling has identified a variety of alterations and mineralization, with notable observations of sulphide mineralization and stockwork vein assemblages, indicating a complex geological environment conducive to significant deposits. Notably, the system remains open for expansion in multiple directions, suggesting there is considerable potential for richer deposit identification.

The Valiente Project, now under Hannan’s development, covers a large area in central eastern Peru. The project has transitioned from early-stage discovery to an advanced exploration target, now encompassing multiple porphyry systems. Recent advancements in permitting have allowed Hannan to expedite its exploration activities, underpinning its strategy with drill programs expected to commence in the upcoming quarter.

All samples were collected and analyzed with strict adherence to standard geological methods. Hannan Metals aims to leverage its comprehensive approach to methodical exploration within this emerging mineral belt, prioritizing sustainability and resource management in its quest for high-value mining opportunities.

The identification of a significant copper porphyry target at Hannan’s Previsto Project marks a pivotal moment in the company’s exploration strategy. With substantial evidence of continuous copper mineralization, accompanied by impressive widths and an unyielding focus on further delineation efforts, Hannan is poised for rapid advancement in exploring the mineral-rich districts of Peru. The project stands as a testament to Hannan’s commitment to unlocking value in resource exploration and development, bolstered by their successful management strategies and operational milestones reached thus far.
