Conversely, the United States and the United Kingdom have experienced significant declines, with the US descending to 24th place, marking its lowest ranking historically, and the UK at the 23rd position, its poorest since 2017.
At the bottom tier of the rankings, nations such as Sierra Leone, Lebanon, Malawi, and Zimbabwe are identified among the least happy countries. The report emphasizes the influence of factors like social support, income levels, personal freedoms, life expectancy, and corruption in determining happiness across the globe.
