Ambassador Fediv of Ukraine echoed the desire to advance bilateral relations, focusing on initiatives that promote peace and mutual respect. President Marcos reiterated the Philippines’ support for Ukraine, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to assisting in the pursuit of peace, despite geographical distance. Diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Ukraine began on April 7, 1992, with approximately 24 Filipinos living in Ukraine.
