Vosararawa-Sachs emphasized the importance of the associations by stating, “Without us (netball associations) they are nothing” – Fiji Times. She highlighted that one of the major concerns of the associations pertains to the composition of the Fiji Pearls, which currently consists solely of players from Suva. She firmly declared, “We will not be affiliated [with Netball Fiji] under the leadership of RubyAnn Sorovaki-Bainimarama and the executives.”
Furthermore, Vosararawa-Sachs mentioned intentions to pursue legal advice and notify World Netball, as well as the Ministry of Justice, about the potential deregistration of Netball Fiji. This indicates serious implications for governance within the sport in Fiji.
