Oshakati Country Lodge and Burning Shore Hotel in Namibia have upgraded to Hotelogix’s cloud-based Property Management System for operational modernization. The transition, supported by comprehensive training and 24/7 assistance, aims to enhance efficiency and guest services. Both hotels are managed by United African Hospitality (Pty) Ltd, a leading Namibian hospitality firm.

Oshakati Country Lodge in Namibia has recently upgraded to the Hotelogix cloud-based system alongside its sister property, the Burning Shore Hotel. This decision marks a significant shift from their prior on-premises solution to a modernized operation through Hotelogix’s robust Property Management System (Hotel PMS). Both lodges are operated by United African Hospitality (Pty) Ltd, a prominent hospitality and gaming firm in Namibia.

Quintin Byloo, the Cluster General Manager of PHN & UAH, emphasized the need for real-time operational control and the elimination of silos, stating that “Hotelogix Cloud PMS stood out with its comprehensive automation, ease of use, and scalability.” This transition, designed to ensure long-term success in a competitive market, involved a seamless migration process that minimized downtime and provided extensive training and support.

Sivaprasad Gangadhran, Chief Sales Officer at Hotelogix, expressed enthusiasm for supporting the digital transformation of both hotels. He noted that by utilizing Hotelogix, they are not only modernizing operations but are also enhancing efficiency, flexibility, and the overall guest experience.
