The ceremony was held in Seoul during a visit by a Tanzanian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Minerals, Dr. Steven Kiruswa. This visit included participation in a mining stakeholders’ conference organized by the Tanzanian Embassy in collaboration with South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, as well as private sector representatives from both nations.
The agreement outlines specific research projects in geology, geochemistry, and geophysics with the aim of identifying new mineral-rich areas.
