Auguste Fernandez will step in for Miguel Oliveira at the Qatar Grand Prix as Oliveira continues his recovery, from a shoulder injury. Fernandez recently debuted at COTA. Is set to compete at Lusail on April 13th.

Augusto Fernandez has been confirmed as the rider stepping in for Miguel Oliveira at the Qatar Grand Prix, for Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP teams ride position announcement. Fernandez is set to make his debut at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) race event. Meanwhiled Miguel Oliveira is dedicated to recovering from a shoulder injury obtained during a crash, in the Argentinian Sprint Race.

Oliveira won’t be able to race in the Qatar GP on April 13 at the Lusail circuit, due to his rehabilitation from a shoulder injury as confirmed by his team after a detailed medical evaluation following his 13ᵗʰ place finish in the recent GP of the Americas where he was absent. Just like before Augusto Fernandez will be filling in as his replacement, for this race weekend.
