The Indian Prime Minister will embark on a five-day visit to Nigeria, Brazil, and Guyana. In Nigeria, he aims to enhance the Strategic Partnership with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Under Brazil’s leadership, we aim to foster discussions that align with our collective vision of “One Earth, One Family, One Future.” It is an opportune moment to collaborate closely with various global leaders to fortify bilateral relations. In Guyana, I will honor a historic invitation from President Mohamed Irfaan Ali for the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister in over five decades. Our discussions will revolve around strategically strengthening our unique partnership rooted in shared heritage and cultural ties. Additionally, I intend to pay homage to the Indian diaspora, marking their legacy of migration that dates back 185 years, while also addressing the Parliament in a platform that celebrates democracy. Furthermore, I will convene with leaders from Caribbean nations during the 2nd India-CARICOM Summit, an initiative aimed at renewing our historical ties and broadening cooperation into new areas.
