India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar stated that India is uniquely positioned to mediate discussions involving Russia, Ukraine, Israel, and Iran. He also praised India’s achievements in infrastructure, mentioning plans to construct significant lengths of new railway tracks and highways annually. The number of airports has more than doubled in the last decade, growing from 75 to over 150. Furthermore, the minister remarked on the expansion of metro rail services from six operational lines in 2014 to 21 currently, with ambitions to extend to 60 cities.
In the realm of technology, Mr. Jaishankar celebrated India’s successful Chandrayaan-3 mission, which accomplished a landing on the moon’s southern pole.
