She will meet with President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani to discuss bilateral relations and sign multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) covering cultural exchanges and visa agreements. The visit is expected to enhance India-Mauritania ties, particularly given Mauritania’s role as chair of the African Union. Finally, on October 17, she will arrive in Malawi, where she will meet with the President and address both business and Indian community members. During this segment of her trip, three MoUs focused on youth affairs, sports, and cultural exchange are anticipated to be signed. President Murmu’s departure back to India is scheduled for October 19.
