On March 1, 2025, the NASCAR Xfinity Series will host the Focused Health 250 at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), a 2.40-mile road course. The event, comprising 65 laps (20/20/25), will cover a total distance of 156 miles. The race is scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM ET, with coverage provided by the CW Network and the Performance Racing Network on radio, along with social media updates from Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito AutoSport.

Jeb Burton, driving the No. 27 State Water Heaters Chevrolet, participated in a 50-minute practice session after passing technical inspection on Friday. He achieved a best lap time of 103.445 seconds at an average speed of 83.523 mph, placing him 36th among the 41 competitors in the NXS Focused Health 250. During qualifying, he recorded a lap of 100.214 seconds, securing the 29th starting position for the race.

This race at COTA will be Burton’s fifth start at this venue. Historically, he has maintained an average finish of 21.0, with a career-best finish of 10th in May 2021. Last year, despite a strong position at Stage 2, mechanical issues resulted in a disappointing 30th place finish.

Blaine Perkins, driving the No. 31 WERNER Chevrolet, also took part in practice after clearing inspection. His fastest lap of 101.868 seconds placed him 27th among the participants. After qualifying, Perkins secured the 18th overall position, starting outside Row 9 for the race.

Perkins will participate in his second race at COTA, having previously finished 22nd in 2024 after starting in 30th position. His experience could prove valuable, considering he has completed all laps in his prior races at this challenging course.

Austin Green, piloting the No. 32 Volpi Foods Chevrolet, experienced the new layout during his practice session, achieving a best lap of 100.789 seconds. Concluding the practice session in the 18th position, he will start the race from 20th place following qualifications. This will also mark his second career start at COTA.

In his previous outing in 2024, Green demonstrated the ability to advance from a 25th starting position to finish 7th, showcasing his competitive edge at COTA. Additionally, his experience in Trans Am 2 vehicles may contribute positively to his performance in this race.

The Focused Health 250 at Circuit of the Americas on March 1, 2025, promises to be an exciting event in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Jeb Burton, Blaine Perkins, and Austin Green are all set to compete, bringing varied experiences and past performances at this challenging road course. Each driver aims to improve their standings and achieve a strong finish, making this race a captivating affair for fans and participants alike.
