Jordan founded the Jordan F1 team, which operated from 1991 until 2005. Renowned for his charisma and talent for scouting drivers, he famously gave Michael Schumacher his Formula 1 debut during the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix. Schumacher’s impressive performance led to his rapid move to Benetton, marking the beginning of an illustrious career.

Originally from Dublin, Jordan transitioned from a promising racing career to team ownership after competing in various motorsport categories, including the Irish Karting Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Under his leadership, Jordan achieved significant milestones, including the team’s historic first victory during the dramatic 1998 Belgian Grand Prix captained by Damon Hill.
